Renaissance Patterns

With the Renaissance in the 15th & 16th Centuries came a revival of interest in the classical arts of Ancient Greece and Rome. Although the sculpture and architectural ornamentation during the Renaissance tended to be complex, two dimensional patterns were often more subdued. This book is part of a series that covers the decorative styles prevalent in Europe since the beginning of the western calendar. The high-quality images on the CD-ROM can be scaled and repeated to suit practically every purpose.
